League Rules

Match Format
  • Each Drop is a single Battle Royale lobby with all 25 registered squads dropping simultaneously.
  • One Drop = one lobby. Drops are held on a fixed weekly schedule.
  • Each squad consists of exactly 4 players. Partial squads may not compete.
  • A minimum of 20 squads must be present for a Drop to be considered official. If fewer check in, the Drop is postponed.
  • Squads have a 15-minute check-in window before lobby creation. Failure to check in is a forfeit for that session.
Scoring System
  • Placement Points are awarded per finish position: 1st = 15 pts, 2nd = 12, 3rd = 10, 4th = 8, 5th = 6, 6th = 4, 7th = 3, 8th = 2, 9th–10th = 1, 11th+ = 0.
  • Kill Points are awarded at 1 point per elimination. There is no kill point cap.
  • Total Points = Placement Points + Kill Points. This is the primary ranking metric.
  • Tiebreakers are resolved in order: most wins, then most top-5 finishes, then highest single-game score.
  • Scores must be submitted with screenshot evidence within 1 hour of Drop end.
Squad & Registration
  • Each squad registers exactly 4 players and may designate up to 1 substitute.
  • All players must be registered with their in-game name before the season start date.
  • Squad changes are only permitted during the first two weeks of the season.
  • Players may only be registered to one squad. Dual registration results in disqualification for both teams.
  • Substitutes must be declared before lobby creation. Mid-session substitutions are not permitted.
Conduct & Fair Play
  • Teaming with other squads — coordinating to eliminate a third squad or avoid conflict — is strictly prohibited and results in immediate disqualification from the Drop.
  • Cheating, hacking, or exploiting game bugs results in permanent disqualification from the league.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct (stream sniping, griefing, harassment) results in a warning on first offence, then a Drop ban.
  • All disputes must be filed with the Command within 24 hours of the Drop, accompanied by video or screenshot evidence.
  • Command rulings are final.
Drop & Map Rules
  • The map and drop zone rules for each Drop are announced 48 hours in advance.
  • Intentionally dropping on or camping another squad's designated drop zone during the first 60 seconds is a conduct violation.
  • Map pool is selected by the Command each season and may rotate between Drops.
  • All squads must drop within 30 seconds of the aircraft passing their zone. Stalling the drop is a violation.
Technical Issues
  • If a squad member disconnects within the first 2 minutes before the first zone closes, the squad may request a lobby restart. One restart per squad per session maximum.
  • Disconnects after the first zone closes are not grounds for a restart — the remaining squad members continue.
  • Server-wide crashes before 10 squads have been eliminated may result in a full Drop replay at Command discretion.
  • All technical disputes require video evidence submitted within 1 hour of the Drop.
Season Format
  • Season 1 consists of 8 weekly Drops, one per week on the same day and time each week.
  • All 25 squads compete in every Drop. There are no playoffs, no bracket, and no grand final — the season IS the competition.
  • Points accumulate across all 8 Drops. The squad with the highest cumulative Total Points after the Final Drop is the Season 1 Champion.
  • Tiebreakers are resolved in order: most Drop wins (1st place finishes), then most top-5 finishes, then highest single-Drop score.
  • The Final Drop is the Season Finale. All standings are locked and the champion is announced immediately after results are verified.
  • There are no make-up Drops. If a squad misses a Drop, they receive 0 points for that week.
Platform & Settings
  • RedSec League is open to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players.
  • Cross-platform lobbies are permitted. No platform-based restrictions apply to scoring.
  • Input device (controller vs keyboard/mouse) is unrestricted.
  • All in-game settings are at the player's discretion unless a specific server config is mandated by the Command.
  • Use of macros, scripts, or hardware that automates in-game actions is prohibited.
Weapon Restrictions
  • No weapon restrictions are currently in effect for Season 1. All primary weapons, secondary weapons, gadgets and throwables are permitted unless explicitly listed below.
  • Command reserves the right to introduce, modify or remove weapon restrictions at any time. Announcements are posted in #announcements on the RedSec League Discord with a minimum of 48 hours notice before the first affected Drop.
  • Primary Weapons — No restrictions currently in effect.
  • Secondary Weapons — No restrictions currently in effect.
  • Gadgets — No restrictions currently in effect.
  • Throwables — No restrictions currently in effect.
  • Use of any weapon or gadget in a manner that exploits an unintended in-game bug or glitch is prohibited regardless of restriction status and falls under Conduct & Fair Play.
